The courses listed above that the student has taken in their primary major are specified in the student’s course equivalency (intibak). If such courses are taken later, they may be counted upon successful completion by submitting a petition to the department once the grade has been finalized.
-
Common compulsory courses shared by the primary major and the double major program (such as AİT, TÜR, İNG, UGİ, İYD, FİZ, MAT) may be counted toward the double major program either at the beginning of the semester in which the double major is started or after the courses are completed, by submitting a petition to the department once the grade is finalized.
-
Courses taken in the primary major prior to the semester in which the program is started are counted as double major electives in the semester of enrollment in the double major program. Elective courses taken in the primary major after starting the program may be counted, without a finalized grade, by decision of the Faculty Administrative Board, provided that a petition is submitted to the department by the end of the add–drop period of the semester in which the course is taken.
