Minor and Double Major Programs

Second Major (Double Major) Curriculum

Students who choose MBN as a second major are responsible for all courses in the departmental curriculum. For students who have taken courses with equivalent content in their home departments, adaptation procedures are carried out by the MBN Department Chair upon application.

Double Major Curriculum

  1. To graduate from the MBN Minor Program, students must complete a total of 25 credits from the pool of compulsory and elective courses listed below.
  2. Students from the Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering departments will take all compulsory courses except MBN 201 and MBN 201L and will complete their remaining credits with elective courses.
  3. Students from other departments will take all compulsory courses and complete their remaining credits with elective courses.
  4. Prerequisites are the same as those in the departmental curriculum.
