About the Department

Founded in 2003, the Department of Business Administration is one of the first departments of TOBB University of Economics and Technology. Our department offers a comprehensive curriculum that addresses all functions of business with a strategic and holistic approach, aiming to provide organizations with an innovative and proactive perspective. Our goal is to train business professionals who can manage global companies and institutions by creating brands and provide solutions to the problems of the national economy and industry.

Curriculum

Starting from the fifth semester, our students have the opportunity to specialize in one of the following fields: Accounting and Finance, Marketing and International Business, or General Business Administration. This allows our students to gain in-depth knowledge with a broad curriculum.

Cooperative Education Program

Our co-op program offers our students the opportunity to gain work experience in a variety of industries before graduating. Our International Cooperations

CFA University Affiliation Program

The CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is one of the most prestigious professional certifications in the finance world. The CFA Institute is a respected organization that is recognized worldwide for establishing the highest professional and ethical standards in the finance sector. CFA University Affiliation requires program content that is consistent with investment ethics principles and covers at least 70 percent of the CFA Program curriculum. Our department receives a three-person student scholarship for the CFA Institute's professional certification exam each year through participation in this program. SAP University Alliances Program

Successful companies focus on managing and optimizing core business processes. Many large and medium-sized companies achieve this by implementing integrated business systems known as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). SAP is the market-leading ERP system worldwide. Today, these large and complex systems form the backbone of many companies, from private companies to government agencies. Studies have shown that 85% of Fortune 500 companies have implemented an ERP system. We have been teaching SAP in our department as part of the SAP University Alliances program for over 10 years. Refinitiv is one of the leading financial data and infrastructure providers worldwide. Our students receive training and certification with Refinitiv terminals simultaneously with their finance courses.
