Güneş A. Aşık received her master’s degree in international development from Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 2006, and her Ph.D. in Economics from London School of Economics. Having joined TOBB ETÜ faculty in 2016, Güneş A. Aşık’s research focuses primarily on development, labor economics, long-term differences in development between regions, the participation of women in labor force, and the employment of women.
