Students who hold bachelor’s degrees in a field other than Industrial Engineering shall be required to complete a scientific preparation program upon admission into the program. The preparation program should be completed within a maximum of 1 year, and the student should pass all the courses taken. A total of 6 courses should be completed successfully within the framework of the scientific preparation program. The courses the students are required to take within the framework of the program are selected by the Graduate Coordinator. Provided that the faculty member offering the course approves so and that the prerequisite requirements are met, courses from the master’s program can also be taken alongside the scientific preparation program. The scientific preparation program is composed of 3 must courses and 3 electives. The students who get a GPA of at least 2.00/4.00 in the Scientific Preparation Program can proceed to the Master's Program.
Must Courses:
- END 014: Probability and Statistics II
- END 094: Operations Research I
- END 007: Production Systems Planning.
