Department of Economics Academic Advisory Board Meeting

The Fall 2024-25 Academic Advisory Board meeting of the TOBB ETÜ Department of Economics was held on October 25, 2024. The meeting brought together our Department Chair Prof. A. Talha Yalta, Vice Chair Assoc. Prof. Belgi Turan, faculty members Assoc. Prof. Ozan Ekşi and Asst. Prof. Ayşe Özgür Pehlivan, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Quality Commission Member Melike Meterelliyoz, and advisory board members Dr. Utku M. Özmen and Sevde Gevrek. During the meeting, faculty members, students, alumni, and external stakeholders of the Department of Economics had the opportunity to discuss various views, suggestions, and expectations related to the department. The meeting also reviewed recent developments regarding the accreditation efforts of the Department of Economics, the educational objectives and learning outcomes of the undergraduate program, the content of surveys to be conducted with students, and potential improvements to the curriculum.
