TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine Ranked 2nd in 2016 LYS Results

TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine is enjoying a rapid rise in the charts.

The full-scholarship program at the Faculty of Medicine achieved the second place in the results in its fourth year of admissions, well above many established faculties of medicine. The lowest score among the 10 students granted admission on full scholarship with TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine ranked 335th in whole Turkey in the score type MF-3.

The lowest scoring 50 percent scholarship student of TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine, on the other hand, ranked just 7,858th in whole Turkey in MF-3 score type. The lowest ranking tuition paying student to be granted admission this year, was ranked 17,914th in whole Turkey. Having granted admissions for the first time through LYS 2013, our Faculty of Medicine ranked ninth back then, among 131 faculties of medicine.

Maintaining a rising level of success, TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine ranked eighth in LYS 2014, and sixth LYS 2015. Among the tuition-based programs, however, the Faculty of Medicine achieved and maintained the second place among all comparable programs. Having been established with a perspective of “high quality education with a low number of students”, the school continues its development and surpassing strong competition. TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine will continue to training physicians who are aware of Turkey’s needs on the medical front, who have questioning and investigating minds and a problem-solving perspective, and who are capable of leadership.
