For Students Who Want to Take a Part-Time Job at TOBB ETÜ Library

Our students will be employed on a part-time basis during the fall semester of academic year 2016-17. The application form is attached to the announcement presented on our web page. The students who can set aside 10-15 hours per week alongside the course schedule, and who preferably meet the following criteria, shall be required to submit the form to the library by the evening of Friday, 14.10.2016. The net hourly wage payable to the students for this service is TRY 7.00. The process will entail just interviews, or interviews to follow a test on the library services and sources, in accordance with the number of students who filed an application. The results of the interviews will be communicated to the applicants before the end of October.

Qualifications required:

• Knowledge of the services and sources offered by the library,
• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn and use various pieces of software,
• A high level of vigilance in terms of the ability to order alphanumerical codes and to execute routine procedures,
• Robust command of Turkish language, and proof-reading abilities,
• Intermediate level of English proficiency in order to facilitate data entry for foreign language books,
• Ability to balance the education program and the responsibilities of the position, and a serious stance towards the work.
