A Panel Titled “A Review of and Expectations From African - Turkish Economic and Commercial Relationships” Is To Be Held at TOBB ETÜ, on 25 May 2017
7 YEAR(S) AGOA panel titled “A Review of and Expectations from African - Turkish Economic and Commercial Relationships” is to be held at TOBB Economics and Technology University (TOBB ETÜ), with participation from African Union member states, to celebrate the ‘African Union Day’.
The panel to be attended by 33 African ambassadors, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, guests, and students will take place at TOBB ETÜ Convention Center, on Thursday, 25 May, 2017 at 14:00. Prior to the panel, 20 African countries will open up promotion booths at the entrance of TOBB ETÜ Convention Center.
After the welcoming address by Prof. Yusuf SARINAY, Vice President of TOBB ETÜ, the panel titled “A Review of and Expectations from African - Turkish Economic and Commercial Relationships” will be held with Assoc. Prof. Haldun YALÇINKAYA, the chairman of the Department of Political Science and International Relations as the moderator.
The panel will see Eddy MALOKA from the African Union, H.E. Aden Houssein ABDILLAHI as the Ambassador of Djibouti, Hilmi Ege TÜREMEN as the Deputy General Director for East Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ergüç ÜLKER as a Department Director from the General Directorate of Agreements at the Ministry of Economics, Retired Ambassador Numan HAZAR, and Assist. Prof. Ünay Tamgaç TEZCAN from TOBB ETÜ Department of Economics discuss their views about the theme.
