A Team of Faculty of Engineering Students Qualified For The Finals At TUBITAK’s International UAV Turkey Competition

The pixeljet team representing TOBB ETÜ at the international UAV Turkey competition organized by TUBITAK (composed of the Computer Engineering students Erdi Doğan, Şevket Külahi, Şevket Cenap Kip and Electrical and Electronics Engineering student Fatih Kağan Durmaz) qualified for the finals by successfully completing two qualifying rounds.

The International UAV Turkey Competition will take place on 13-16 July, 2017, at TUSAŞ - Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii A.Ş. (TAI) facility at Kahramankazan, Ankara. The competition aims to prove that Unmanned Aerial Vehicles can be developed for civilian purposes, to help with emergencies such as fires and accidents in particular.
